KNOWLEDGE BASE
TMPS
The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is an electronic system installed in your vehicle that constantly monitors the air pressure in your tires and provides warnings when it drops to unsafe levels. It communicates real-time tire pressure data to the driver through either a gauge, a pictogram display, or a low-pressure warning signal. TPMS can be categorized into two distinct types: Direct TPMS and Indirect TPMS.
Advantages
TPMS serves as an alert system, notifying you when your vehicle’s tire pressure is low or when a tire is at risk of going flat. By helping you maintain the appropriate tire pressure, TPMS offers the following benefits:
– Prolonged tire lifespan
– Enhanced vehicle handling
– Reduced tire wear
– Shorter braking distances
– Fuel savings
– Continuous monitoring of tire condition
CHIPSETS
HEKKUSE TPMS incorporates three distinct types of chipsets: the INFINEON chipset imported from Germany, the FREESCALE chipset imported from the USA, and the SENASIC chipset imported from China. All three of these chipsets are widely recognized as the most dependable and precise TPMS chipsets available in the market.
FUNCTIONS
HEKKUSE TPMS’s Monitor is designed to provide real-time tire pressure and temperature data on its screen. When the tire pressure falls below the recommended level, it triggers a warning alert with audible sounds to alert the driver about the abnormal tire pressure. Similarly, if the tire temperature exceeds the recommended level, the system will also issue a warning.
HEKKUSE’s Monitor is built with a modern, elegant, and luxurious design to suit all car segments in the Malaysian market, including A-Segment, B-Segment, C-Segment, D-Segment, and more.
Furthermore, HEKKUSE’s Monitor features both solar charging and USB charging options, ensuring it stays powered and ready for use in various conditions.
HEKKUSE TPMS employs wireless technology to seamlessly connect all the sensors to the Monitor, providing a convenient and efficient monitoring solution for your vehicle’s tires.
HEKKUSE TPMS’ Sensors are constructed from robust Aircraft Aluminum material, renowned for its exceptional strength and durability. These sensors are equipped with long-lasting Li-Ion batteries, ensuring extended operational life. Furthermore, HEKKUSE’s sensors have successfully met the rigorous IP67 Water Resistant International Protection Standard.
The IP67 testing involves the following criteria:
- Protection from contact with harmful dust: Our sensors effectively shield against harmful dust and dirt. Even after direct contact with these substances for 8 hours, no seepage occurs.
- Defined as immersion in up to 1 meter of water: Our sensors are designed to withstand immersion in water up to a depth of one meter.
The IP67 standard sets strict requirements to ensure that no harmful quantity of water can infiltrate the enclosure when immersed under defined conditions of pressure and time, specifically up to one meter of submersion. This comprehensive testing involves a 30-minute duration and a water depth of less than one meter, guaranteeing the sensors’ resilience to water exposure.
